

VYPE: What are your goals for this season?
Lilly: My goals for this season is to get better and be uncommon, so I can make my team better. As a team our goal is to work toward chasing down the best teams and another state championship.
VYPE: Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Lilly: If I had to choose, I would pick Zia Cooke (South Carolina Gamecocks). She stands out to me because she works hard and she hasn’t given up. She is a great basketball player.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Lilly: I’ve had several amazing teachers over the years. One in particular is Coach Dixon. He is a great teacher and mentor. He always brings the energy and likes to compete!
VYPE: Who do you look up to and why?
Lilly: I look up to great inspirational people that have gone before me and I look to Jesus. I just want my life to reflect him so others can know they are loved. I want to inspire people to be kind and make the world a better place.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Lilly: Jayla Holliman has had a big impact on our whole team and me personally. She brings the energy and pushes me to do my best. She is always willing to include me or any of the teammates in drills she does so all of us can work together to get better.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Lilly: I love the bond you develop with your teammates. Knowing they have your back and you have theirs.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Lilly: I would go to the Bahamas and I would bring my best friend and my close teammates.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing basketball?
Lilly: I have always loved basketball and wanted to play. I started practicing in first grade off and on with our school team up until 8th grade when I started playing. I came to McAlester my freshman year and continued playing. I will have played all four years.

Lilly: Thank you to my parents for loving me and raising me to be the person I am today. Thank you to my teammates for all the laughs and fun times we have shared and the memories we have made. Thank you to my teachers and especially my coaches (Coach Owen, Coach B, and Coach D) for investing in me.
