Evan: Basketball has taught me how to be a leader and that it takes time and energy to get good at something.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Evan: I would say my favorite teacher would be Mrs. Harris, my 6th through 8th grade teacher, she taught me a lot in life and always had a good attitude about it.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Evan: My father has been my inspiration since i was born, he’s taught me what’s right and what’s wrong and we’ll always have each other’s backs.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Evan: Brason Johnson just graduated last year so i only played basketball with him for two years but for those two years and continuing he has been someone i’ve looked up to and respected.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Evan: My teammates, I truly believe I have the best teammates, they will always have your back and pick you up when you’re down.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Evan: I would choose Miami Florida and I would definitely take Lewis Woodmore, Brayden Bumphus, and Jake Forehand.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Evan: I have played basketball since I was in third grade and couldn’t imagine a world where I didn’t play.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Evan: I would like to say thank you to my coach, he’s hard on all of us but he’s really just preparing us for the real world, and he’s helped me through many situations, so thank you.
