McAlester senior Adante Holiman has written his name into the history books of McAlester Buffaloes basketball as the new all-time scoring leader. Scoring 31 points on Tuesday night in a 71-56 road win against Hugo, Holiman broke the mark set by Jeremy Case, a 2003 alum, who played collegiately at Kansas University.
In just 73 games, Holiman has scored 2,274 points eclipsing the previous record of 2,249 held by Case. Now with 673 points in only 21 games this year, the McDonald’s All-American nominee and University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley commit is averaging 32.0 points per game to help McAlester to a 12-9 season record with one remaining regular season game on Friday against Ardmore and the Class 5A playoffs.
