VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
Taylor: My favorite subject is math because there is almost always a solution and my favorite teacher was my third grade teacher Mrs. Lewis, she always made learning fun.
VYPE: If you were stranded on an island, who are the three people you would want there with you?
Taylor: If I were on a stranded island I would want to be with my parents and best friend. My dad because he is very logical and can build anything, so he could build things like shelter for me. My mom because she is my mom and I don’t know what I would do without her, and she can cook. Lastly my best friend because she would make me laugh, keep me company, and she would be there to keep me busy and not think about how I’m stranded on an island.
VYPE: Who has been the biggest influence in your life on and off the court?
Taylor: My late grandma Joyce had the biggest influence in my life. She was not only my grandma but best friend. No matter what she always was upbeat and had a smile on her face. She told me many stories and shared many of her experiences with me. These stories and experiences taught me great lessons that I can carry on throughout my life. And no matter what she was doing, she always found time to play a board game or card game with me. She taught me to cherish the time you have with those around you and never take an opportunity for granted.
